From one monkey to another

I just got back from St. Lucia.
Did the all inclusive thing.
2 weeks of awesomeness

Only bad part is having to get all the way to Toronto to head South.

Left Yellowknife after supper and headed to Calgary.
Caught the red eye across and was in St. Lucia early in the afternoon.

I love the Caribbean....awesome place.

Booked through Air Canada Vacations

Same boat us. Been to Mexico a dozen times and my mom lices there 6 months out of the year. Great place to visit when you have a free place to stay but we’re looning to go elsewhere.

Headed out on Sunday for two weeks to Curacao. Small island in the Dutch Antilles beside Aruba.

Been to Cancun / Playa 4 times, Manzanillo 1, Ixtapa 1.

LOVE costa Rica, particularly the Guanacaste region. Direct flights from Calgary to Liberia with Westjet.

Been to Cuba as well, it was nice, but won't go back.

I do want to visit Bonaire, but unless you're a diver there isn't a whole lot on that small island.

What do you want to do? Surf, fish, hunt, sit on the beach and drink...all of the above...something else?

East coast of Australia has amazing surfing, and plenty of fish and beer. Great party atmosphere without the drunken fights and street crime that you see here.

Cook Islands are old school island chill. Fantastic snorkeling, friendly locals who might take you wild boar hunting, nature walks, but verrrryyy slow pace, and remote.

The Hawaiian islands are diverse as far as activities. Oahu has much history, beautiful views, easy to get around, busy, shopping and beach activities. Maui has fishing, hunting and beach. The big island has the volcano park, macadamia nut plantation, coffee, etc. if you go, make sure to rent a car. It takes a while to get around

Tahiti, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji I have not been to, but are reputed to be full of fantastic scenery and remarkable history.

Philippines is a long flight, but if you avoid manila, you can have a really nice vacation without breaking the bank!
Bohol has plenty of very nice diving, and you can take a dolphin tour in the morning, siarguo general Luna has world class surfing in September, also blue water fishing, plenty of river tours, and also the largest population of mosquitoes on earth!
Every place I went in the Philippines, mosquitoes were not a problem at all... until I got to general Luna! Wow! During the day, you will hardly see one, but make sure you have a mosquito tent for the night.

My personal favorite place in the Philippines is rizal, it's a cluster of small islands a good distance from the cities, very quiet and peaceful, very friendly people, beautiful underwater scenery, lots of fish and sea snakes, water is so warm you can swim all day and never get chilled.

In the same boat, so we just decided to rent a car and drive to Boissevain for a week. Pics with Tommy the Turtle will be a real highlight.

Go with a different girlfriend next time. It could put a whole new effect on things.

We went to Nicaragua this past February, we don’t do All inclusives anymore , we just did small hotels, airB&B , traveled by taxi, motorbike or the chicken bus for 50 cents. It is an amazing country it is safe, good food lots to do and see lots of vulcano’s to climb, highly recommended it.

St. Maartens !! Orient beach is awesome! I would go back in a heart beat. It's on my list of places to go with only a swimsuit, toothbrush and the clothes on my back.
