410 Gauge (I know, I know)

I have been shooting a 410 single shot with a rifled barrel. It has a removable choke that lets me shoot 45 colt rounds with the choke removed. With the choke removed I need to be under 15 yards to shoot grouse consistently but it does work. I have shot a couple of deer with it at under 50 yards in thick bush. I shoot 250 grain at about 1500 ft/sec. It is not my first choice for deer by a long way but it is just a lot of fun. With the choke in place it performs like most any other 410 shotgun.
