Default Athabasca River

Between Hwy 40 and Brule. Is this worth trying in Aug. Sept. or Oct. Any recommendations on techniques and rigging? Thank you.

Not a bad little area. Seems to be where the pike hang out during part of the year..... That's all I'm going to say.

Pretty much any section of the athabaska is worth trying in the fall as well as most other times of the year IMO.

I pretty well live in brule ( just up the highway) and have tried fishing in that stretch of the river numerous times in all different spots and can't seem to catch anything.

I am also a teenager with a quad as my only set of wheels.
