Default all this rain, good or bad...part 2

Elk6 asked a pretty fair question in his post. I think the rain won't bother the deer too much, and yeah, should do good for antler growth.

But what about for the grouse???

I read somewhere that if its a really wet June, then you can expect a really poor year for chickens, as all their eggs will most likely be destroyed, along with any young that have aleady hatched.
Anyone have any comment on this?

That would really suck, cause I absoulutly look forward to grouse season. Love hunting ruffies!

Yeah, I think that's the general rule.......wet spring/early summer means less grouse in the fall. Last year they were everywhere so I guess that it all evens out in the end. I like chicken in the fall as well.
