Depends what you're looking for. Catch and release for burbs, pike, perch and whites is Wabamun. Great lake for fishing but zero limit for all species.

catch and keep:

pike- Lac la nonne,Pigeon,Coal,Chip
perch- Nakamun, Lac la nonne, Mink
burbot- Chip, Pigeon
Walleye- Slave Lake, Calling, South Buck
trout- Hasse(if any left), Carson, Morinville trout pond, Star

check regs for all limits.

Good luck!

As Best Guide has said fish the NSR. Just don't ice fish on it as he seems to have a shoet memory of his last thread that was deleted. Don't go on the ice on that river. I don't know where you're from and want to keep you safe. Fish from shore and enjoy.

As for spots there are many places you can go right in the city. Also Devon is another good place. In town right by the quesnel bridge where the whitemud creeks flows in is always a good spot.

Check the regs for trout stocked lakes and ponds. There are many wirhin an hour of here.

What are you wanting to target?
