Default Shore Fishing & Camp Site Recommendations

Hi everyone, what are your favourite camp sites with good shore fishing? We're looking for a site within 2-3 hrs drive from Calgary. Any fishing tips would be appreciated too, thanks!

Don't really have a favourite, but, but Pine Coulee is pretty great from shore, either the dock at the campground, or up by the bridge.

The Forks, just north of Grassy Lake.

Pine Coulee, Clear Lake, Twin Valley, Chain Lakes probably the closest with campgrounds and decent fishing. Go further east and south to Crawling Valley, Newell, Rolling Hills, Travers for some camping and fishing. Others too but those are a few off the top that come to mind quickly.

Buffalo Lake has an awesome campground called The Narrows. Awesome shore fishing for pike. Everything is catch and release there so you can't keep em' but they are tons of fun. The campsite is only 30mins North of Red Deer. I like to use small spoons and crank baits.
