Default What to do with coyote carcasses?

What do you do with coyotes once you shoot them? Obviously they are not eaten, what's the protocol? Gut/skin em out in the field? Burn em? Dump em? What is the proper thing to do with coyotes you've shot?

I make jerky for the inlaws at Christmas.

Or I just leave the skinned carcass to recycle.

Serious like a heart attack They like homemade personal crafty gifts and they are all liberals, so I try to keep them happy.

Wink

Usually do up a couple roasts or steaks. Fresh backstraps taste alot like bald eagle but the meat is more tender. The roasts when done up properly taste just like penguin. Mmmmmmmm penguin.

Freeze in a sitting position. Throw in buddies truck and zip tie front paws to steering wheel. Kinda funny coming out of bar at 3 am to that.

Those old males get tough but if you do the gone legs in the slow cooker they are alright. If oil prices soon don't come back I'm going to be living off coyote and gopher.

Reminds me of a buddy who in an altered state of mind took the frozen 'yote out the back of the pickup, stuck it in the snowbank in front of his urban house, and told his kids they have a new puppy.

Sick man he was. Left the darn thing there for a couple of days until finally a neighbor told him ditch it, or face the by-law officer.

Should you shoot a mangy one, burn it. Don't touch it, just light it up.
