Damn few Walleye will be caught in a 5 1/2" net....u guys know how they measure them????...SHEESH!!!...nice comments!...couldn't get a room in Van.??? Also, forgot to mention...it is a "great idea" to cut the nets which have floats under the ice...so u heroes cut them..they stay there until they are so full of fish they sink, until the fish rot and the floats bring them up again!!....good idea...saw it at South Buck years ago...GOOD PLAN...they have a license to fish..probably checked closer by SRD in 2 days than any sport fisherman will be in 10 years...I guess if the next time I go fishing and you're in "my" spot , I can cut your rod in half and carry on ?????

The nets being used on the commercial pull are 5 1/2".
To help with the smaller fishing being caught, SRD exchanged the natives that net Pigeon for 4" nets for new 5 1/2" nets back in December and January.
