I've never been threatened by PM either. Had a few dust ups over the years but always on the open forum. Usually about race and politics....

True enough, and I will have to say that a lot of general 'discussion' seems to have it's fair share of politics in it, but being I don't live in Alberta at this point, I just read them without comment

Been threatened by the one and only Whitetailer... but i call him on it and he never showed. That was years ago
Other then that, never been threatened. But been PM'd that I need to go back and live in a tipi or costco was having a big sale on flats of lysol, lol.
Ive had PMs DEMANDING to know where i shoot my animals and if they were tagged or not. I could go on and on.

Wow my life is so dull!
I've been fly fishing for many years ( I put them all back) and I never knew it was this combative.
These people need to get out more, read some books, just about anything.
I've never been threatened, but I still don't know why some one would threaten another.
Bye the way threats are a criminal offense, and given we all have guns, you can be pretty sure the RCMP would be very interested in that type of thing.
Just play nice in the sand box or you may get a surprise know on your door.

I was told twice, by someone on here, that he was gonna come to pay a visit to me, and he did it out in the open, not in a pm! And the place was a public meeting spot!
The bets ran rapid, on which excuses he would use ! on why common sense, fear, and reality kept him from showing up!
The pot was a good one! I won't name the AO er that cashed in!

Years ago on this board, I had a bit of a stalker. He was a REAL clown. Seems to me he thought everyone hunted in Africa over poisened water holes...
ANYHOW.... He actually tracked down where I lived and made a bunch of veiled threats.
Other than that and one little punk it's all been good.
I would love to know just who the ignort and obviously stupid coward is that would have issues with the Perch bonking.

ive never been threatened. i been yipped and chirped at by some mighty small people, but never threatened. i guess i look at em like poodles though. they yip and make a lot of noise too, but arent a threat.

I've never been threatened or called an azz****, etc in a pm which I find quite amazing considering my Don Cherry-esc posts allot of times. All of my battles have been fought right out in the open on the forum. Maybe people figure that I'm armed and crazy......dunno.
I did have a bit of a stalker one time because I disagreed with the member's opinion. Nothing drastic, just the usual kind of everyday thing. I found the pm's that I was sent a little weird and it took me awhile before I realized he was a she.  No offence ladies, it's just that guys write differently and when you think that it's a guy pm-ing you it can sound a little weird.

You guys should walk an AO mile in my shoes. lol Only seems like a couple years but I think Morb and I have been Mods here for about 10??? Time flies when your having fun. Oh and for the record I hold no grudges and hope no one here has any against me.

ive been threatened,and all those members have been banned for threatning other members aswell.I guess alot of them turds end up on that other alberta ,2 posts a week ,hunting forum

I've had lots over the years and probably deserved them all. Poor Bear Ballz was the funniest though after I insisted on calling him Bare Ballz for a while. My bad dude.

Wild thread, but hey, AO is a wild place.
I don't think I've been personally threatened that I can recall. I've been personally insulted countless times (not as much as BGSH), but I don't exactly shy away from a good 'discussion' and I've played the devil's advocate once, well, maybe twice. 
That said, there are dangerous people out there, some with mental health issues (names withheld) that should give you concern. Ultimately I don't take anything personally or hold grudges. I do form opinions though.
Communication in this form is not exactly smooth sailing and I aim to keep my impression of people open until I meet them. I've only been here a year, but I can honestly say that I've met several dozen members and they've all been great save for a couple who call to cancel at 6am due to 'headaches'.  . Some guys even show up like 30min early to meeting spots. Gotta love that level of enthusiasm.
Anyhow, it's the interweb, don't take it too serious.
Spidey, keep your head low and don't talk back. everything will be ok-ish.

Someone's wife took offense last year that stinky was having too much fun bonking perch. She questioned why I would allow a child to participate.
The outings were fun get togethers. Infact one evening (after work) we dragged out the mini bbq and everyone enjoyed.
Rhf was never an issue for stinky & i. While some of you may had a different experience with him ~ he was a gentleman and very patient the ONLY time we all fished together.
Overall the majority are good.

Nastiest PM I ever got was from Ken007, when I suggested having a Japanese tsunami survivor in your house wouldn't be like hosting a member of your local hockey team . Definitely a dark side to that boy.
