Spent the weekend there very low on grouse compared to last year saw two does tons of road hunters herd random shots close very close and far away no major sign of deer very skidish and herd wolves at night and morning is anyone else finding this area difficult to come across deer here this year
339 has been getting worse and worse every year. The bad winters and high predators has really taken it's toll. Not to mention the number of hunters and recreational users seems to double every year. IMO the deer are on the low end of the cycle and the wolves are on the high end of there cycle. It is going to take 5-10 years for things to get back to where they were prior to 2010. Lots of bears and wolves though.
