Default A Great Film and a Great Hunter

I'm not usually into many professional hunting videos. I love the videos of folks filming themselves and the experience like the one posted by CountryLife. But the ones of professional hunters have never really interested me until i came across this guy. The thing I've never cared for (not that theres anything wrong with it, please im not bashing these guys) is that they're mainly about going and killing the animals. All fine and dandy! But i feel that theres more to hunting than just the kill. Its the whole experience or the landscape your in. Ive had incredible hunts and experiences, and came out of the bush empty handed.

Killing the animals isnt what draws me to hunting (obviously its the majnreason we do it) but what tugs on my heart strings about it is sitting on a cutline before daylight and watching the morning creep into the forest and the trees explode.

Anyway.. this guy really captures that. There can tend to be some many gong show hunter videos and what not "wooo!! Lets blow something away!!" type groups which was alot of what some of my family members were like. Out for the kill.....this guy was a breath of fresh air. And i could relate to.

Hope the link works.

He had an article he posted on Facebook about shooting his heavy arrows. I didn't get a chance to read it.
