They'll still be coming to a call for sure. The peak is over, but love is still in the air.

Yes they are. While I was watching this guy I could hear two Bulls fighting in the distance, then as I started to go towards where I heard the Bulls fighting I came up on two cows about 150yds appart and both were calling.

This pic was taken with my iPhone, just to give you an idea of how close he was.

I wish women would just call like a moose. Sure simplify things.

Agreed...I'll voice this suggestion today at the dinner table. I hope alleviates some of the uncertainty around the subject.

Hasn't happened yet.
I find Marriage is a lot like hunting.
You will learn until the day you die. And how you handle a situation one time isn't necessary the best way next time.

That was the bull I wish I shot, the week I was out they were just getting ready for the rut, the one I killed was the only one I got close enough to. I'll take you out if I get my "honey do" list finished early I promise, I like guiding as much as shootin, maybe more! Mamma's already tightened the leash in preparation for November!

MikeW and Kurt505,
If you do head out, please keep me in mind to join you... (Kurt, just shoot me a text)
I'm close by and haven't been out other than 2 days mid Sept. Not sure if I'll be available either as the work and household duties seem to be growing at the worst possible time, but I'd gladly make the trip out if it works and I'd even just help out with everything if you don't want another archer.
Cheers
