406 WMU help

Hi all,
I got white tale buck draw for 406. Never hunted there before. Please share tips/directions/advice! pm me.

You're going to catch a lot of flack from members here.

You'll get best results a couple kilometers from roads or busy trails. Game carts handle pretty well on the horse trails in the area. Be careful as there's a lot of areas where you can't have a rifle unless it's cased or the bolt's out. Trigger locks probably would work too. Check the EDRD website's hunting maps for where these areas are. Basically in and around provincial recreation areas.

Take bear spray and be aware. Hunt with a partner.

Set up in areas where you can see a good amount of ground and hold still in such spots with your binos for dawn and dusk. I tend to see deer within 200m or so of a water source.

It's not an easy zone to hunt.

Taking your time! LOL Season started a month ago. And I don't believe it's just a buck draw. It's antlered or antlerless. Nice country to hunt. Good luck!

Make sure you are 100 % sure where you are there is parks inside parks some wild lands you can hunt parks you cannot

Dumb me. Of course you can just get antlered in 406. Done it myself. Forgot my meds today. LOL
