So guys, I haven't been out for a while and want to shoot just a few rounds to double check accuracy. What would be closest area to shoot 100 yards from Okotoks? I used to go west of Millerville on hiway 549. Is that still allowed? On crown land of course.....
McLean Creek area has been all posted last cpl years "no shooting within 1km of road" thanks to all the slobs leaving their mess behind.
Still lotsa guys shooting out there,just gotta get off the main road 1km.

One Sunday last winter I offloaded my quad at staging area,packed it up with 2 rifles/target stand etc,planning to drive in a ways and do some shooting.....drove up the hill 400m and no less then 8 trucks there,12-15 guys shooting,targets set-up everywhere....like WTF,must be that newfangled math where 400m=1km??
