The end
Had an extensive IV at the U of A the other day.Six hours to be exact.Got home about 5:30 pm had supper then it started. bad headache upset stomach shakes dizzy cold.Went to bed at 7pm turned on the bed warmer and shivered and ran to the can a few times. I finally took some meds to knock me out.Woke up at 4 am feeling a bit better so I drank a bunch of water and watched the tube.
The following morning I had a specialist appointment and told him that I really got sick. he said that the hospital left him a message that they'd overdosed me by giving me a extra bottle of IVIG.And stated that yes the dose I had was max and the extra would have made me that sick.
Well my wife called the U of A and filed an official complaint through voice mail to the charge nurse.we did not receive a call for 24 hours from the charge nurse. Her apology was more of a complaint that they had staffing issues and said they would now place name on the bottle for the person it was for.
As explained to me this I'v requires five thousand doners for one treatment and is worth thousands of dollars to obtain. So I get one more than needed and the other person was shorted.
They knew the did wrong yet neglected to,let me know. I won't be dropping any Tim's for them anytime soon
