Who's going to the gun show?
Edmonton gun show is on this weekend . Who's going so they can find that perfect Christmas present , or just because? I hope to be there tomorrow mid morning , maybe run into a few AO members.

There should be a law that if you are a member here and you are set up in a gun show you should have a sign or some way of letting us know who you are. If I was trying to decide between a couple of choices and a AO member was one of the sellers, I would lean that way.

Went to the show at 11 am, holy crap was there ever a pile of people there. Bought a few older technical books by Bob Hagel, Jim Carmichael, Ed Matunas and 2 knives. Didn't see too many screaming deals on guns, but as usual the last day is the best time to negotiate. I did see a few deals (I thought) on 2 Tikkas ( 65 Deluxe , 300 win mag $850 as well as a 658, 30-06 $650 )and a Weatherby vanguard deluxe 270 win w vx2 scope $900.

Not going as I'm in High River area. But if anyone could find me a Stevens 200 or Savage short action for my 6mmBR build for around $150.00, I'd sure like that!

Like Leo said - it was a gong show. Tiny little isles, too many stinky people. I dont know what it is about gunshows but I always get stuck behind those who stink like ass. But it was nice to see a decent turn out.

There is a bit of both as well as war memorabilia, leather and craft goods, antiques etc. Lots of brass , powders, gun parts you name it. Buyer beware though, 1 astute business man had a $ 175.00 price tag on a $ 55.00 dollar knife have fun at the show.
PS: Parking sucks
