Default WFN changes

Anyone notice some programs from WFN (now Sportsman Channel) are gone?
Looks like the next bite was dumped.... not cool that was one of the best shows IMO.

Digital is the future. These outdoor channels seem to be clinging to the old grip n grin and milk your sponsors philosophy but i found that increasingly hard to watch.

I watched a few hours of sportsman channel so far and already miss WFN. We just got WildTV 2.0

It is the sportsman channel now. At least on mine it is. I haven't given much look at the sportsman channel but it does appear to suck. More hunting than fishing. So sucks from a fishing perspective.

No network carries it anymore. As far as I've read it started back in 2017 with Rogers being the first to drop it. WFN is still going but on streaming services / apps. Not that I know much about that since I'm on "rural" internet. Streaming is not an option for me...
Therefore, I have to suck it up that WFN is no longer available on satellite.

Heard WFN is still on tv in states. Which seems weird to me.

I'm considering cancelling my subscription, but at $3/month, I'll probably end up keeping it. I counted one fishing show between 9:30 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. last night.

I'm not a cord-cutter, but for fishing shows, the best stuff is on YouTube. Aaron Wiebe doesn't put out much content on Uncut Angling anymore, but when he does, it's far and away the best there is. Jay Siemens and Clayton Schick (both AW disciples) are putting out quite a bit of content, and are doing a really great job with it. Those 3 are my go-to's. One of the Konrad twins puts occasional vids out via FishingGeeks, and they're *not bad*, I'd say...

Agreed. Aaron Wiebe is the best!
I'll check out more YouTube fishing.

Not really interesting in the Fishing Geeks stuff though...

Thanks!

Not being bias but gotta say fishing the Wild West with Wes David is one of the most improved shows since season 1 I’ve seen. Compared to season 1 so much easier to watch and Wes is way better on camera.

Favourite show has to be anything salmon minus a couple I won’t name as it’s just shots of reels spinning 90% of time
