Default Red Coyote, Cinnamon Coyotes

I used to hate red coyotes and cinnamons, however in my old age I have been enlightened. Here is I think the nicest red I have ever taken, a beautiful big male that has the most character I’ve seen in a red!

A little brush damage! Taken in a combo of Magnum spring and one of them nasty little Deathblow Camlocks. Had to test them of course! Never again, I cut them all off my remaining snares!

A few tanned cinnamons ready for new homes. I get them all tanned now

Enjoy!

Do you love them or hate them?

Very nice, I catch quite a few of those every winter. I made the mistake of shipping them to the auction once.

Interesting coyote, haven’t seen any like that coloring myself in my area but not saying there isn’t any. Maybe one day I’ll come across one! Thanks for sharing Marty

Cool catch Marty. Curious what you don't like about the death blows? Lots of live coyotes? Loose snares? Big catch circles? Enlighten us

Default Red coyote, cimmamon coyote.

Caught on just like that the other day. Very pretty coloration for sure. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten one as red as him before.

What do you charge for one of those cinnamons?

For some reason, the ones in Ontario seem to be very common in this color phase.

On that note, not all reds are the same, seems like the east’s red are kinda bland? I will give them a closer look in May if I am able too, in Toronto of course!

Deathblows, as there’s now a post on that, I will comment there. Sorry for the delay, been busy. But I did feel compelled to warn Davey about this whole super duper wolf blood thirsty killer moon that’s hanging up there tonite first. Now for sure the guy, and all his trapping buddies, are screwed. They have to be.
