Question Lakes near Airdrie worth going to?

Just curious if there are any good lakes within an hour or 2 of Airdrie/Calgary. I've been to Burntstick and Gull but that's it. Trying to get out this weekend and catch something on my new Tip Ups! I have read on Google about a few but theres nobody better to tell me how the fishing is then the fishing community, thanks in advance

What type of fish do you want to target? If pike theres is eagle lake or bruce lake. If you want trout you can go to winchell , there always chain lakes also , i try and stay close within an hour because of kids so eagle lake or bruce lakes works good for me lots of pike
