With spring just around the corner, looking for people's opinion for what style/location people use for their trolling motors. My boat is a 2003 Glastron sx 175 open bow. Just looking for people recommendations on where to put the motor. I'm thinking of getting it installed on the bow, however i've also thought of getting a transom mounted one as well.
What do you run for electronics and are they new enough to connect to your trolling motor? If you run bird, look at Minn Kota. If Lowrance, look Motorguide.
I got a Terrova 80# 24V iPilot Link last year connected to a Helix and it was way more of a game changer than I ever thought.
