please excuse my ignorance as i don't fish in bull trout areas. at first i thought it was a very big brook trout. are they only catch and release? if he was planning on keeping it what difference does it make how he holds it? very nice fish by the way, thanks for the pics.

Show us some with proper fish handling. Both bulls and lakers bleed very easily, and swim away completely healthy.

I don't think that will ever happen Chubb.

I didn't think keeping my limit of perch once a year for the wife's grandparents would be a problem but I had more then a few comments about it also.

Once again congrats on some good looking bulls. I myself have had plenty of bulls bleed like yours and swam away fine.

Default Sharp Hooks

we must use sharper hooks. as stated above they certainly do bleed like stuck pigs. not every one, but more often than not. some mouth hooked bleeders. i assure you, they all still swim.

Hey Chubb, Great looking fish.

I can't believe you used a hook to catch those things. You could have hurt their mouths using those sharp hooks. What ever were you thinking?

Default Got out

Bushman, you made the comments about your fish not doing what others have posted. I'm sure lots of people don't post pictures because of this case in point. I have not posted pictures of as I don't have anything worth posting and i'm not sure I want to with all of the picture police on here. You started it, put up or get off the keyboard.
