Wife had her class raise some 150-200 from egg to fry...
Gotta release them soon..

Any requests.?

I've often wondered if the hatchery down in CNP here was operating at capacity?

take a look at (what used to be) Allen Bill pond. They'd stock it just before may long, and 2 weeks later there'd probably be half the fish in there. I think there should be a restriction such as 20-35cm for keepers on ponds like this. Same with Sibbald.

Here are the historical charts regarding all the fish stocked in alberta for 1921 to 2010. In the dirty thirties they sure stocked lots. People had no jobs and were hungry I guess. It looks like the trend for stocking is on the down slope as of 2010.
