Default What did the Fish Say When it Swam Into The Wall ?


..... Dam !!! ......


Lockport Dam, opening day, I'm in WPG for a family matter and decided to take a drive to Skinners for a foot long, a beauty day, +22C, a few people & Pelican's fishin, lots of water moving down the Red River, took a few pic's.

I was right there yesterday too. In fact I'm there a couple times per week for sure.

Skinner's dogs are way overrated. Check out the Half Moon on the east side of the river at Lockport instead. Better yet, get a cheeseburger and fries at Sonya's beside the Lockport Hotel.

I was thinkin my pic's would get a few Manitoba guys reflecting on the good time's fishin the Red. Was at the Forks for lunch today, no walking paths, all under flood water! I had a good visit with family & friends but there's no place like home.

Got back to Sylvan this evening ... lake's still white!

Default Nice pictures

Brings back good memory's of fishing Lockport when I lived in Winnipeg! But there's no better place than Alberta to come home to.
