Default Long Lake info needed

We are venturing out on Saturday to Long Lake. We have never been there before and would like to catch a few perch. If anyone could point me in the right direction on this lake it would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to send a pm if posting is not your thing. Thanks for any help you can give.

Ka at the lake right now and if you go off the trail with a truck, you will need a shovel. Perch are not hitting yet. You can see them and they just are swimming around. If it warms up they may turn. Slot of blown snow on the trails. A sled or quad would be better than a truck. I watched a couple of guys today with their truck struggle. They just backed down the trail instead of turning around. Fishing was poor today.

Went out to Long by Boyle today and didnt venture too far. Two trucks stuck at the entrance shoveling and with the wind, thought better of it and went home. Its tough trucking on that lake at the best of times and the ice is often thin...

Went yesterday after N. Buck caught 5 in 1/2 hour dont go to Buck there not biteing. Long is fair. Not bad driving on where we were but need a 4 X 4 A lot better driving than at Buck. Hit the launch to the right and follow the road to the spots.

We were there on Saturday and if you saw us shovelling it was to clear a spot for our tent......we had a great day inspite of the cool breeze. Caught only pike but had a ton of fun. We didnt get stuck but the snow is quite deep. Thank you for the tips on this lake....we will be back !

I'm not sure what North Buck you were at but I know several people who caught limits of perch by early afternoon on Sunday
