Default Propane Power Mixer Adjustment

I realize auto-propane has kinda gone the way of the dinsosaur but I was hoping there might still be a few guys who recall how to set an Impco 300A mixer? It's on a Ford 302 EFI but I'm running it on straight propane. I've replaced the guts on the vaporizer and the adjustment on the mixer seems pretty touchy. Do I use a vacum gauge to find the sweet spot?

Thanks in advance.

Not much to them. Power valve is a butterfly, idle mix is under the plug on top. Vac guage can help, I just went lean best idle. If you're having trouble getting a good idle it may be worn and is letting too much fuel through the main valve.

Idles is good, and I am familiar with the power valve....I have it pretty close, just wondering about fine tuning it.

Thanks
