Default Crowsnest area in the winter.

Good morning all,
I'm helping a friend move to Bellevue from Calgary in the morning, we will be spending a couple days this weekend setting his place up and all of that. Is there anything open to legally fish this time of year? Or is everything more or less frozen up for the winter?
Thanks,
C.R

The crowsnest river down stream of the east Hillcrest bridge all the way to the reservoir is open all year except for the portion between lundbreck falls and highway 3. This section is closed from April 1 to June 15.
The oldman river below the dam is also open year round down to sec road 509

So a buddy of mine was up there this week and said there was open water above the falls, but down below hwy 3 was pretty froze over. Just a heads up. But I do agree that a phone call to crowsnest angler would be the best. They are great guys over there.
