North & South Saskatchewan River travel through multiple provinces so they are open all year round, check your fishing guide for size, length and limit regulations.

From the regulations:

South Saskatchewan River
May 8 to Mar. 15 – Walleye and Sauger limit 3; Walleye over 50 cm; Pike limit 3 over 63 cm; Burbot limit 10; Goldeye limit 10; Lake Sturgeon limit 0; Bait allowed.
Mar. 16 to May 7 – CLOSED

You will have to wait until May 8 to fish the SSR.

I dont know.... you flip through a few pages go down alphabetically till you see the water body you want to know about then read what it says.

VS.

Turning your computer on and logging in.. going to the Alberta Outdoorsmen web site and logging in. Going through the process of posting a new message. Reading all the posts by people saying READ YOUR REGULATIONS!!!!!!!. Then sitting there and waiting and clicking "refresh" untill your question is actually answered, and incorrectly at least once I must add.

Its seems easier to just read that damn book, dont you think?

WHy would you rely on an internet forum to give you this answer when the regs are free on the internet?

The SSR is open right now. You can fish there all you want. Just let me know when and where you will be fishing so I can call F&W.
