Have you fished Duck in recent years?
If so, how's the fishing been?
I haven't been there in years. We did quite a few trips on or about the May long weekend; lots of fun!

Take some pics, post a trip report.
Thanks!

I am thinking of heading that way this summer to cross Bass off the old bucket list...and while I am in BC I may scratch a few other species off the list as well but I am still in preliminary planning stages.

was out there in august last year it was brutal hot mosquitoes where ridiculous and there was so much weeds it was crazy, but we hammered more than a few bass top water with poppin frogs!!

all in all beautiful and more than worth the trip but unless your willing to put in some effort to find em id stay away.

Fished Duck years ago in the spring and had a blast. I set up my daughters rig then she would cast and while I was setting up the wifes the kid would catch one. It was non-stop like that for three days. The only thing we found was shore fishing sucked because of the weeds. We had a canoe and used it all the time. No bugs in May and the bass and perch really hit hard.

The numbers of bass and perch are down and for the size of fish, well i haven't caught anything bigger than 4 pounds the last few years(few big hogs left)but theirs still a ton a fish to be caught and a great place for kids.

Is there an easier access to Duck - other than crossing the tracks from the Sidhar store and carrying your boat down that steep path?

I will be heading back to Creston with the lady in 2 weeks!
Can't wait to get back to hammering some largemouth and I may even try to snag one of those tiny sunfish that are in there.
There is another access to Duck but the road has been pretty bad each time I go back.
