Default Anyone here grow Purple Tomatoes ?

Got a few seeds started them in mid-April, a few pics of the plant/fruit, , not sure how big they get, don't believe they're near ready yet, from a quick Google search they may be called "Indigo Rose" or "Cherokee Purple", not sure.

Anyone here grow any Purple Tomatoes & can share some info ?

D.

I grew I think it was the indigo rose. It was a bit hard to tell when they are ripe but I just went by when they went a bit soft. They didn't get very big at all. Nothing like a beef steak. In the end I didn't find them exciting. Pretty tasteless and tended to get mushy pretty fast. I didn't bother with them this year. Hopefully you have better luck. I'm still trying to find the perfect sandwich tomato. Rutgers has been okay this year but I'll be experimenting again next season. Any thoughts let me know.

They look like plums growing on a tomato plant! That’s so cool!!
