Seems like Global is almost boasting about him working there.

Not surprised, Globals reporting has been moving farther and farther to the left.

Used to enjoy Global's newscast but not anymore. And Global National & CBC, same same

I just want the news with no spin or angle. JUST the facts and I can make my mind up from there.

And why only four charged? There was a small army of them

How are they boasting?

They literally wrote "Maxwell Ming Mah is an employee at Global Edmonton." and that's it.

Just 3 charged? What about the other what, 2 dozen criminals?
Maybe these were the 3 loudest?

Man, I didn't think there was anyone else on here old enough to remember the old WKRP in Cincinnati sitcom where Herb Tarlick threw the live Turkey's out of a plane over the City as advertising gifts at Thanksgiving. The thought of that still cracks me up.

Charge everyone involved, and impose the largest fines available.

Does anyone on here know how we can hit Global's twitter feed asking for Mah's resignation?? That gets fast results. I tried figuring out how to do that last night but I'm such a NEWB at twitter I didn't get the results I was hoping to get. If I have to email so be it...BUT twitter really hits to the heart and fast on things like this

These same folks just staged a protest in Canmore at the dog sled tours. Thankfully they were arrested and charged instead of allowed to continue....

I think I'm going to start a protest protesting the protesters that are protesting cause they got nothing better to do than protest. Who's with me LET"S GO. We could be the "Animal House" of protesters. Could become my fulltime job when I retire soon, all I need is some support. Maybe a go fund me page or just some anonymous donations. A few mil $$ to start. Might need some bail money and transportation cost

That's why I won't go to Globull's stoopid "news" website anymore.

Too many articles say at the bottom "Comments Closed - "Sensitive Nature".
Boo Hoo! Poor snowflakes!

They know "darn" well that the comments on some articles will be Politically Incorrect and not in line with their bleeding heart commie agenda, especially when it comes to pedophiles and psychopathic murderers.
I guess we should "understand" the perps and not make "rude" comments.

If they're so great then they should allow comments on every article or none like CTV news sites.

Sleazy C - I mean CBC is the same as globull.

I don’t think that the RCMP would have done a thing if it weren’t for The UCP taking this seriously same with rural landowners rights-Ottawa is going to try and pacify this province and promise to be good until they can get away with their usual nonsense.

Agreed about CTV. Them and Global are as bad as the CBC.

Exclamation They are changing the story already

In a recent Calgary Sun article about the 15 protesters arrested in Canmore, the "reporter", Alanna Smith, ties in the previous story about the turkey farm occupation and makes the following claim:
Quote:
Protesters claimed cruel treatment of the animals housed at the Jumbo Valley Hutterite farm. Dozens of activists demanded a tour of the barns and after co-operation with the farm’s operator, they left with five purchased turkeys they said would be given to an animal sanctuary.
This is the first time I've heard the 5 turkeys were purchased for release. Is this an attempt to revise the story and whitewash the activists criminal activity?

A friend saves me Ontario Farmer papers, a good perspective on what happens in that province. They've been dealing with this on a much larger scale and are livid. The protesters are charged by the cops and then the charges are dropped by the Crown because of the "unlikelihood of a conviction " .

i wonder why the sled tour company did't let a few of the dogs off the leash, for a little on on one with a few protesters?

Nice idea but sled dogs are big lap dogs. They don't have a mean bone in their body when it comes to people. I still think u should be able to take a pick handle to malicious trespassers.
