Default Meat buck to emerge with a fish cop thrown in for fun

Yea....

I’m sittin in emergency right now.

Shot this lil guy about an our ago

150 yard shot, bang flop. Walked up.... and my heart rate went funky.
Over 100 bpm.... super thready.
Tried to sit it out.
No improvement.
Gutted the deer out n tagged it. Just about passed out 3 times. Big breaths not helpin.

So after sittin for5-10, i take my rifle n pack back to the vehicle.
Feel like a crap sandwich. I decide I’m takin the truck to emerge as my heart rate is thready and fast n I’m feelin whack.
Couple guys come by and I fly em down.
Ask them to drag out my deer n Chuck it into my truck as I’m headed to the emerge.

I hit the emerge... here I sit and get a call .... fish cops
They stopped the boys n grabbed my deer.
Hope they don’t confiscate it.

I’m all hooked up to crap. They shaved my dang chest.

This sucks man.

Hope everything is alright, scary.
Nice buck.

Just out of curiosity what is a thready heartbeat?

I think you're out west but do you need any help dealing with the deer tonight? I'm in the Castor area and will drive an hour or two if you're in that radius.

Yikes! Good luck! Are you in Pincher or the Pass? If you are in Pincher I’ll run you up a charger.

Just out of curiosity what is a thready heartbeat?

I am sure he meant pulse....

Hope you are well, OP. Sounds like you may have caught the beginning of something worse.

Yes
Thready pulse

Not strong
Faint beating

Like a murmur than a thump

I take it this is the first time you experienced this? Doesn't seem right that a man of your age and fitness would be experiencing a disorder like that.

Need me to come in to read you all the responses to your post? Get well man.....there's more animals to trail

On another note I can't blame you for the shot I heard at 1726 when coming out of the bush. Sundown was at 1653

Bessiedog I hope you are OK!! I enjoy your posts and perspective!

That is a scary situation for sure, have faith that you are at emergency and in the right hands! Two weeks ago today I went for an easy walk around Jasper and had crazy radiating chest pains. I went to emergency and was immediately flown to Edmonton. Today I am home post surgery for an Aortic Aneurism repair! They took wonderful care of me, you are in good hands! I pray you don't have to through what I did but be assured you will be ok, be happy for the healthcare we have and the incredibly talented doctors that make heart surgery a routine procedure! That is what I struggled with, "how can this be routine?"
And yes my chest got shaved too! Be thankful for that as pulling off probes is torture with the hair still there!
If you need anything please contact me and I will help how I can
Hope no BS develops because of the buck!
Best of luck!

Best wishes Bessie . The deer is the least of importance right now. Getting well so you can stay in the game is the most important.
