Default Savage 210F ... my ticket to Strathcona County *pics*

I have permission on prime Strathcona County land, with a farmer who has problem deer..... the solution? I buy a slug gun known for long range accuracy, and a scope with a reticle system that with time at the range, will allow me to do so.

Here she is...12 gauge fully rifled bolt action Savage Model 210F (pre-accutrigger)...wearing a Leupold Ultimate Slam 3x9-40mm with SA.B.R. reticle, Leupold PRW rings, one piece Weaver factory base, and Leupold flip caps. Couple more accesories to be added later on.

The bolt is freakin' huge..... Really excited to hit the range with this beast and find a load she likes.

Range report to follow sooner than later

Nice rig, but be aware those accu-tip sabots result in plastic fowling after four or five rounds. I have great luck with the Winchester rackmaster rifled slugs in my rifled slug barrel.

Default Whhoooooooooo!!!

Nice Whammy Gun!!

Let us, I mean me, know what kind of accuracy you get, and with what rounds.
I've got a Whammy Gun too, just not a bolt action, and I have not been able to shoulder enough rounds to sight it in properly yet.

i can usually hold out for 25 rounds of 3 inch mags in one sitting before moving onto something else. After that they get expensive to shoot.

These bolt slug guns are so hard to find, I think ill keep her
