One heck of a mans room!

I love the mounts. Nice bear and badger.

My badger is at the taxidermist right now but paid a hell of alot more than you did. Who is your taxidermist? what kind of turn around did you get on those mounts? Do you know if your taxidermist tans the hides or sends them off?

My taxidermist is Tyler at High Point Taxidermy,Its right around the 12 month mark for stuff back, some back sooner than that.He sends his hides in to get comercially tanned. He did not mount all the mounts.2 of those whitetails he did and he did the mulie with the open mouth.I wish he would of done all of them,He does very, very good work, litterly hundreds of dollars cheeper on all mounts and turn around is amazing.

Bit Runner, I was going to ask you who you ran bits for but looking at your reloading bench, I'm guessing it's Smith??? I work in Calgary for NOV/Reed, but don't hold that against me...LOL
Wonderful displays of your mounts, I am jealous. I'm working on mine, 2 mulies, a whitetail and elk coming from the taxidermist a life size bear and a beaver hide... hopefully more to come this season.
Take care and good luck this fall.

You bet i run bits for Smith,I also run turbines and impreggs for Neyfor as well
as do a bit of oilfield consulting.I also run bits for security and drilformance and im still having a tough time working 10 days a month now.Reed stole some of our work with your new 413 in 156mm.We just finaly got ours built.Hope you get your mounts back soon,I hate waiting but its apart of life.I waited 14 months just to get bear back from tannery.Soon as it come back tyler had it done in 2 weeks.
