Woke up to see frost on the ground this morning and a bull elk crossing the field. Gets the blood flowing.

I've seen yellow leaves on trees in the past few days too.

Kinda bittersweet though. It was a short summer.

I just heard that a forest gardian radioed in from 40 mile cabin (south west of Nordegg) and it is "snowing like a bastard."

You sheep hunters who are geared up to head into the hills soon, bring your longjohns. (and your sunscreen and shorts of course)
