Default Suffield Elk Shedding Velvet

Got some pictures today of a few bulls in Suffield.I was surprised to see them shedding their velvet already & a couple had their horns cleaned right off.The pictures aren't the greatest but the one big bull I'd guess in the 350 range.Seeing lots of bulls near the North fence area this year so hopefully a few guys can call them out.I called two small bulls over the fence last year in Nov. using 2 cow decoys.Well hope to get a few of you guys revved up about your Suffield bull tags.I have seen & know there are bulls out here that will push the 400 inch range so GOOD LUCK & don't forget to post pics.FH

Just to let you know taking pictures of CFB Suffield is a chargable offence with out a camera pass. I know even though it is only of Elk it still is illegal. just letting you know.
Man do they have nice Elk on the range. Great pictures.

Seen 3 bulls about 10 days ago just on the Northside of the fence about 7 miles down K-rat road. Two of the bulls would definitley be in the 380 range. They were both 7x7 with heavy main beams, long backs & points.Talked to alot of guys who said they're tough to call out of the block but we called 2 small bulls out & 1 large bull to the fence on Nov.17 last year using 2 silhoutte cow decoys.Good luck with your hunt.FH
