Default Choosing The Right Carbon Arrow?

After just about 20 years away from archery, I am thinking about picking up the bow again and getting back into bow hunting. I used to use aluminum arrows and would buy the correct spine or stiffness for my draw length and poundage. I want to shoot carbons and was wondering what to go with. I shoot a bow that is adjustable from 55 to 70 lbs draw weight but I shoot around 65 to 70 pounds. I thought I would see if anyone can recommend a good carbon arrow and how I match the arrow to the bow. I have a 30" draw length. Maybe a recommendation on where to find a decent deal on carbon arrows as well, and the specific brand and type you may recommend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to your local bow shop, not box store and see what they have. There are lots of great arrow brands out there. It sounds like you’d be between a 300 and a 340 spine. I’m 29 1/2” and 64lbs and shoot 340’s.

I use Easton right now, my hunting partner is using VAP’s, we both used to use Carbon Express.

I am currently using the carbon express maxima reds love them sure get stuck in the target so everyone thinks they don't penetrate like smoother arrows do that don't stick in the target, used to shoot gold tips and Easton fmj

Shot Beman Hunter Pros, Goldtip Pros and Carbon Express Pile Drivers in the past. All good arrows but loving the VAP's

It sounds like VAP's are popular. Thanks for the input.
