Default New Lodge in Port Hardy

Hey guys,

Just finished purchasing a new place right in Port Hardy, literally only 600m from the marina and our boats. It is a real nice place and has an amazing view of Hardy Bay. The kitchen (most important part for my mother) is top of the line, so all your meals will continue to be great, and Mom isn't on this forum so not like I'm sucking up at all

New furniture will be throughout the house, so some of the stuff you see in the pictures will be replaced with top of the line equipment, including a big screen tv.

There is a hot tub built into the deck that over looks Hardy Bay, what a great place to kick back and relax after a great day of fishing on the water!

Here are some pictures, will probably have to post them all in two separate posts:

Here fishy fishy

Gawd I love Hardy. I miss that place. I will have to get my wife up there sometime. I haven't been in years and it's about damn time I got back. Thanks for showing the pics.

Nice. Grew up in Hardy. Bringing my kids to visit their grandmother in July. Will definitely have to get out the chuck and catch a few salmon.... Have to try the flyrod too....

If you are in the area and want any tips on where the fish are biting and what to use let me know

And ya Critter, he's big, ugly and I love him more than I knew possible to love a fish. 51 inches long!!! He was a really long fish, as most 51 inches are over 70lbs, he just didn't quite have the girth to get that big. But I liked him more cause of his length! He was close to home too...I said at beginning of year I thought I'd get a 60+, and what do ya know, 2 weeks into the season got him in the boat...real early for a big fish! I have a feeling I'll hook into at least 2 more this size this year...I figure I have 5 or 6 fish a year that spool or almost spool me and we don't get them in...hopefully one of the fishermen this year we have can fight the fish well and get another 60+ into the boat, I know we hook into about half a dozen!

Here are some better pictures of the lodge, old ones were of how the old owners had it, this is how the lodge would look if you were to visit it now
