While there are a good number of species that I would like to catch, having sampled a fair variety of fishing I very much doubt I would enjoy fishing for a lot of them. With that in mind I would very much like to go after striped bass, and while I have caught redfish on a few occasions, I'd like to catch some bigger ones.

Awesome thanks, just out of curiousity are you talking the mouth of great slave lake or is there a chance a guy could get into them closer to fort smith? I was doing a bit of snooping looks like there are quite the rapids around that area.
I believe the bio I was talking to was working out of Fort Res, so Ill just assume that's where he was talking about. Its a timing thing according to him just at ice out. If i remember right there is an outfitter in fort res might be worth getting a hold of them for more details if a guy is looking for inconnu specifically.
