Wabamun Whitefish

I was jigging for walleye last weekend and all of the sudden my son caught a fish that fought way harder than the small walleye we were catching. When we got it to the hole I was quite surprised. A nice whitefish was on the line.

It has been years since I caught a white out of Wabamun. Just curious to see if anyone pulled any up this ice season. The picture isn't great but it was a pretty good sized white.

Was thinking the same thing. The Fallis thread had me thinking of all the whitefish we caught at Wabamun.
