Default Pigeon Lake.

Heading out to Pigeon this weekend looking to catch some walley! How is the fishing right now? Never fished there before, is there any particular color or technique that works better than others?

Heard the lake has been slow fishing for walleye last week end .Might have been the hot weather that turned them off. Any new reports ?

When its hot and calm the fish aren't going to be as aggressive. Try dragging a 1/4 oz. jig on the bottom at 0.35 MPH. Every time you see a couple fish come into the cone, stop the boat and jig for a couple minutes. Usually you can convince a couple of them to bite. After a couple minutes keep on moving until you find the next pod of fish.

gonna try for walleye + whitefish. any one caught white lately?
i'm thinking of heading straight west from the Mulhurst bay.

If your fishing by Mulhurst I find the evening the very best from about 800pm to sundown... We have a lake lot at the lake and this time of day never fails, never... Fish fairly shallow at that time as the Eyes move in to feed on small baitfish and small perch... Not far from the seasonal docks seems best.
