Default crossed a few off the list today!!

Had a great day out on the river with geezle and BBJ!! Caught my first sturgeon, biggest fish in my lifetime!! A couple red horse suckers and a personal best walleye just to top things off!!

A couple of the sturgeon: 39" and a 14" girth approx 17lbs but open to suggestions.

You're taking your life into your own hands posting size/weight of that one though!

congrats on the fish, those sturgeon are addictive! my pike have been getting a breather since I caught my first sturg this summer, except the ones in the river. Id say yours was probably about 12 or 13 pounds. just a guess, they sure look heavier than they are. a lot slimier too, I was expecting them to be like boot leather but they are more like pike that way

If that walleye is 30 inches which it looks to be, and it also looks healthy and proportioned ie. not skinny, then I would guess its pushing into the 8-10 Lb range. I have weighed well proportioned 'eyes that are 24 inchers at 5 Lbs. regardless that is a great walleye!! congrats

Damn straight! That's the biggest walleye I've personally witnessed anybody pull out of the NSR!
