Default cross/steel lake

I was looking for any info on the fishing recently, was looking to take a trip on sunday.

U got that right. not so much this summer but the last 2 have had a big die off due to blue green algae. Everyone I talked to this summer said the perch were impossible to find and the pike were all hammer handles. I spent a week there and spent several weekends and that's what I found as well.

It was once not very popular and the perch and pike were all really descent sized last time i went ice fishing there by ten am there was barely any room on the lake lol

Talked to the park ranger and the family long weekend in February he checked 200 people out fishing, and I am not sure what long weekend this summer was similar numbers.

Was out there on the ice this past winter and in open water ...... wasn't great ..... hammer handles and very few decent sized perch

Winter was tough. Took me 10 moves scouting spots this winter till i found any decent perch. This summer 2 short trips and no perch. Gonna be a tough ice season i think for perch

was out a couple times this summer a few hammer handles but no perch yes will be tough this winter.
