Default Sturgeon Lake??

Good Day All,
I seem to be in question asking mode today, so heres 1 more. How is the fishing at Sturgeon near Valleyview? Havent been ice fishing in about 16 years, so I'm a bit overdue!! What type of lures for whites and perch, maybe pike with tip ups. What part of lake is hot right now? Will be taking 4 year old son and wife so I would really like to catch something so their interest will be stoked.
Thanx in advance
Ken

Default sturgeon lake

Hey Ken, I was out there last weekend with a couple of buddies, we didn't catch any walleye or whites, but we caught some big Jack. The fishin' was a little slow. We were using some tip-ups but caught most on a black jig head with white tail and a minnow. We were fishing off of Youngs Point, I hear the Narrows are good as well. I'm wanting to try Kakut Lake this Sunday, but i'm not having much feedback on my thread.

Well I hope this helps you Ken, and good luck to you and your family!!!
