Yup.
But seriously...movement will be best after the system has moved on and the weather flattens out

It will take more than a week to dry out , IF its not to cloudy, and the precipitation holds off. The rut will be a blast regardless of the weather I suppose.

Me too. Had to work for the birds so far this year. Between no thunderstorms lodging the grain so the birds feed a field out in a day due to little waste grain in the fields,to the cold or snow pushing them south its been a tougher season for sure.

Its like the migration pattern has changed, between that and the weather, don't think those birds know what to do. Have a bad feeling will be a short season--like its not short enough!

No snow yet in sunny south of Medicine Hat, but yesterday I was suddenly hit with the "get the yard ready for winter" bug - so I'm sure it's on the way soon enough. ugh!
