Default Fighting Moose pics

Not sure if anyone has seen these yet but they were just sent to me today.. Tuff way to go for these buggers but that can be nature...

DONNA MACPHERSON TOOK THESE PICTURES THE OTHER DAY. THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO SEE THEM.
These two battled scarred bull moose tangled horns and fought to a watery death.

They were seen floating in a ravine near Osage Sask. I took these photos as they were removed from the water.

The racks were about 40 inches and 42 inches respectively. The bodies looked enormous, but of course were quite bloated. They had been in the water for at least 10 days.

It was very sad to see that end come to such magnificent creatures but I think their death would have been much worse had they had to try to survive locked together. The paddled were securely locked on both sides

Thanks for the pics Walleyes. I can't say I've ever seen two Moose locked up before. Amazing and a bit sad at the same time, but like you say nature can be an awesome thing. I just picked up BB magazine and there was a feature about a shed hunter finding triple locked WTs. Amazing stuff for sure.

Saw that on a email a few days ago. Pretty amazing there isn't more found like that. A shame for those two, for sure.
