I was just looking at that too. Now all we need is a few inches of snow on the evening of the 9th and everything will be perfect.

for the town of smith where i'm heading it calls for snow sat, sunday, and monday. i think it will be a good two weeks of hunting. but how much can i beleive the forecast when it changes daily. I just hope we get a good freeze up before to much snow falls

Good Luck Chuck.

Lots of deer in Smith area.

I have been out there bowhunting moose and saw one field that had over 30 deer in it and at least 15 of them were bucks.A couple were real gaggers.

Thanx brown bear. I have seen some nice bucks up there over the past ten years aswell. i do have access to a few feilds but the first week my buddy and my are going to try staying in a tent up in the martin hills instead of at the cabin. second week i will spend in the fields for my elk or deer if not filled yet.

I have been drawn every year for moose in November. ( lucky i guess) but i have been trying for my cow elk. First with my bow but now i will hopefully reach out and touch one with rifle. had a few nice bulls elk come within bow range but every time i check my tag it says antlerless elk. ( was hoping it would change to bull elk)
