Default Looking for suggestions on small boat

I have a 18 Lund fishing boat which is great for most lakes. Pure luxury, but, of course, too big for smaller lakes and rivers.

Every once in a while, I want to go and explore a little pot hole lake.

I was looking at inflatables, smaller tinners, jons etc... and can't seem to decide what I should buy for this application.

I will likely paddle, or put a small electric on board. Probably 2 of us fishing and it would be nice to be able to put into the bed of my truck and/or drag or carry down to the lake .......

Also, my garage can't take another boat - unless I move downstairs to the couch forever (unless I get divorced I guess).

Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated ............ tell me what you like, dislike and what you might do differently in this application.

Thanks ....

iv'e been using a 10' canoe for a couple of years and love it for small pothole lakes. it's very light and i could carry it into almost any lake, yet it's still hardy enough to take some waves if it has to and it can carry all the gear i need to be comfortable. also i like to stand up and stretch once in awhile.

Seamax!

Gerry @ www.kaygeeinflatableboats.com
Is a great guy to deal with, top shelf product and service.

Pick up a small dolly from PAL or CTC for under $40 and you can go anywhere. Best part is at the end of the season you just roll it up and store in the included travel bags.

Love mine and would buy from him again in a minute!
(And no he doesn't pay me to say that...lol)

My rig is a 16' square stern Frontiersman.

Great car topper imo.

Minn Kota on the back, humminbird, 3x Scotty power lock rod holders.

The beam is 38" if I recall correctly so it is very stable.

The only other things I would add are seats with a back rest, and a bunch of tie downs and maybe some kind of bin or cooler that straps in.

It can be handled by one person no problem and there's lots of them on the
market.

Looks very similar to pikergolfs video. The transom is not as wide though.

Ive got a 12' Lund and a 14' prince craft both tinners. The 12 is pretty cramped.
I love my 14. Storage is another issue. I would opt for a 12 or 14 foot Jon.
Very light, you could probably get a pulley setup and suck it to the roof to get it out of the way. Inflatables suck nuf said.
