Default America’s Got Talent: The Champions

Anyone watch the finale tonight? Talk about some absolutely incredible performances! They’ve left it up to the American Public to choose the overall winner. I haven’t picked a best of the best yet but i’ve Pick a few that I don’t think were as good as others. Anyone have a favourite to win?

I’m a big fan of AGT. Tonight was amazingly entertaining.

I think it’ll come down to Preacher Lawson and Darcy-Lynn once again, but the voting has been surprising by times thus far.

Big John’s magic act was nearly perfect in terms of performance, but the lovely young lady from the Ukraine with the sand truly is an emotional act to behold. Shin Lim has probably the best close magic card act on earth, but I feel his performance was unfortunately lacking tonight.

Overall, an excellent show.

That little Darcy Lynn is amazing. I’m hoping she wins.

Sand lady is excellent....but I am definitely pulling for John Dorenbos!

Basically anyone but a singer!

I have said since the beginning of this show it should be for all the different talent not a singer....singers have enough other shows to compete on!

iIt would be a shame if Darcy didn’t win. Shin is incredible but a distant second.

Those are among my top picks as well but not necessarily in that order. I have to include Darci Lynne amongst them as well. There were a lot of great acts but for me, only a handful that were truly phenomenal.

I’m not ready to pick an overall winner just yet but I’ll go out on a limb and say that it won’t be the crossbow guy.

You have to give props to the lady from Dangerous Games. To stand there and have a apple on your head shot with a cross bow!! Absolutely nuts!!

I agree with Fletch. Singers have multiple other shows to go on. I want an act other than a singer to win. I really don't know who I like as the best because they all blew the doors off!!

-Sand Lady: unreal talent and truely unbelievable how she can draw with pouring sand like that.
-John Dorenbos: what a great illusion and to tie all his past appearances into his final act.....what a concept!! Best we seen of him hands down.
-Shin Lim: Probably best close up magician in the world. Mind blowing what this guy can do.
-Preacher Lawson: Best comedian they have ever had on that show.

Any one of these are more than worthy.
Glad i'm not the only AGT junkie!! hahaha

Yes the crossbow act was nuts for sure.

If you like the "Sand Lady" check out this link from a Canadian artist (Ryan Larkin) that did Sand animation and short subjects in 65'. Met him at the National film board when I worked there.

So all you closet AGT fans, thoughts of the final episode?
I am very o.k with the winner. He is unreal!! Was rooting for either Simonova, Shin Lim or Dorenbos. Just glad it wasn't a singer..............

I also really wasn't a Darci Lynne fan. Ya she sure can sing with a puppet, but I wish she would have more material than a short conversation with her puppet, then sings a song everytime. I think Paul Zerdin and of coarse Terry Fator have a much better act. Yes I know she is very young, but just commenting on overall act.

I think that America got it right with Darci Lynne and Shin Lim in the final two. The final five had me a little surprised as I figured Paul Potts to be among them......ahead of the Sand Lady and Preacher (both great performances btw). Other than that it played out pretty much how I expected it to.
AGT The Champions was a great idea to create. Some of those foreign acts that we wouldn't normally see were fantastic!
