Default Exploding Targets

Did you know....
The fine for using exploding targets in Alberta’s Forest Area can result in a fine

Shooting east of Ram Falls followed by 4 of what sounded like large explosions.

Was this yesterday? Was on the North Ram and heard sirens on the trunk road and saw one emergency vehicle whiz by on the North Fork road....followed later by a helicopter. Never heard the blasts....

There was or is some military training going on around there, including helicopters.

The blasts were NNW of Pepper Lake.
Saw Search and Rescue + Fire Chief + Fire Truck heading west on #752.
Ah - long weekends.

Son and I were fishing Prairie Creek a few years ago....incredibly loud explosion scared the crap out of me, son said "tannerite"....never saw the people involved.

You know there is too many city folk out west when somebody (using a sat phone??) calls in the cavalry for a noise complaint... in my opinion.
