Here is my take on it...

If it is a knee, than it is totally on Scheifele

If it is an achilles tear and a different angle shows contact from Thachuk skate then that is a different story. Even without a actually "cut" to the skin, that much direct pressure on a achilles under stress could cause it to tear or detach. But as much as I love to hate Thachuk, I don't believe there was any intent. Is it dangerous to lift your skate up during a hit? maybe? but I also don't think Matt Cooke intentional try to cut Karlsson's foot off like the media played it up to be.

**** sometimes just happens in hockey

Great way to deflect from his team. He took the brunt of most of their bad play. Watch tkatchuk skate into boards. He was struggling himself going to fast into boards. No intent just freak play. Anyone else wouldn’t even be discussed. Your hate to see players get hurt. If out for anytime that’s a big loss for the jets

I'm a Jets fan and I watched the game and there was no intent there on tkachuk, it was just a freak accident that happens to the Jets all the time. Very deflating as a Jets fan anyway go jets go

Lol!!

Boy.... didn’t that engine take a while to get revved up eh..?

Reider...... oi....

Proof of the ‘blind squirrel nut’ theory right there.

I never said that Shsmes don’t ha e dead weight.

Pixel I dunno..... I’ve pouted for a day and carefully analyzed the Oils problems.... and it boils down to:

Defense is back to slow read/cover rookie status .....

Our defense was terrible!
Kleff and the Larson sucked big time.... that’s two straight games now

Benning is off...

Forwards are back to ‘let the D handle it’

If Tippet dosent shake the boys up, get em back on the bike hard today and burn off them Swedish meatballs..... give Kass his ‘rood/meth’ shots yo get him goin...

We’re done by Wed.

Big hill big hill big hill

Get climbing or get golfin boys.....

..... no hills in golf

No idea how both Rinaldo and Brody ended up in box from that scrum....but good job for Flames to kill the 2 minute 5 on 3.

Too bad Jets scored after.

Damn...Too bad....Talbot had no chance on that. Still lot's of time left but I think Hellybuck is dialed in for this game.

My prediction is 4-1 Jets but hope I am wrong..LOL

Nice, Flames needed that. Nice pick off of the pass and great shot from Lindholm.

That's what I said. I think Monahan kind of had a sort of shot a while back, but nothing much from him.

That was a bad way to end the period, to cough up puck in front of Talbot. Good save he had to make.

Yeah, I've been pretty impressed with him making the big saves when he needs to, and being so composed. He could give them a chance to win.

I really like Rittich but Talbot is the confidence the Flames need right now...Experience.

I see they are still targeting Tkachuck, I hope we make them pay here. That elbow was going straight for his head.

You can see Tkachuk is still in their heads....not sure what Ehler was thinking, but hopefully Flames can capitalize on this pp....

Dammit. A bad pp, follow by a pp goal by Jets....not good.

Lowry and Lucic are gonna have to fight.....but it's crap that Benny goes to the box. Ugh. Another pk....

Amazing how many teams may be beat up during the qualifying round before even starting the 16 team regular format.....

There is sure a whole lot of hooking and holding going on that's not getting called...Flames should be on pp instead of pk, Mangiapanne was being hooked through the whole neutral zone. It's getting pretty undisciplined.
